| As the Bank of Israel announced on August 10, 2010, the Governor of the Bank has appointed a search committee for candidates for the position of Supervisor of Banks. The Supervisor of Banks is responsible for the supervision and regulation of the banking system in Israel, and is a member of the Bank of Israel management. |

| Minimum qualifications |
| 1. At least seven years' management experience in banking or similar field; |
| 2. Recognized first degree, preferably in one of the following: economics, business administration, accounting. |

| Additional qualifications |
| 1. High proven management ability; |
| 2. Experience in a senior banking position; |
| 3. Thorough familiarity with the public and financial sectors; |
| 4. Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Hebrew and English; |
| 5. Master's degree in a relevant field an advantage. |
| |
| The search committee may set additional qualifications for screening applicants. |
| The search committee and the Governor may at any stage approach candidates who have not submitted applications. These candidates must meet all the requirements and have the qualifications applicable to the other candidates. |
| Employment will be by personal contract. |
