Currency Department - Annulment of old banknotes

On July 1st, 2000 the old notes shown below
ceased to be legal tender:

     
     
     
  Anyone who still possesses any of the banknotes above can exchange them at the Bank of Israel in Jerusalem, until the end of the year 2010. Banknotes from previous series (the Sheqel series and the Pound series) cannot be exchanged.

The Cashier's office is open Sunday through Thursday, from 8:00 to 13:00. The Bank of Israel is located on 2 Eliezer Kaplan Street, Kiryat Ben-Gurion (opposite the Prime Minister's office), Jerusalem.
